Feeling Yucky Days...

Starting last Tuesday, Archer wasn't feeling too well. I took him to the doctor because I thought he had ANOTHER ear infection. She didn't see anything. Tuesday and Wednesday proceeded to be the hardest days in Archer's little life. He was miserable and I was so sad that I couldn't figure out what was wrong. So... I decided to take him back to the doctor on Friday (since it was a long weekend) just to make sure he was alright. Sure enough...a double ear infection (AGAIN) and a breathing treatment later, we walked out of the doctor's office. They gave us a nebulizer to give him breathing treatments at home. He hates them to say the least but he is doing much better. I think we are on the mend.

Here's Daddy giving Archer his treatment. Archer was such a good boy during this session.

Mom...don't take a picture of me...this is serious. Aw! He looks so precious. Like a little Jonathan David. They might even have one doing breathing exercises...you should check in mom's collection.

So sorry to hear about Archer's ear infection. They can come on really quick. The same thing happened to my son who suffered from chronic ear infections for over a year. I wish I had known then what I do now about help for ear infections in kids. If you are interested in learning about some options, please email me at theduartes@cox.net. Hope he feels better soon.

By the way, the ladybug cupcakes for Jordyn's birthday were too cute (and yummy).

Archer,
Sorry you are feeling so bad. I hope soon you are out and hiking the neighborhood with your Dad. LAvone and I are here with your Cousin Jesus Marcos and he said he hopes you feel better (which in his current language is da da...bob..da.b.b.b.b.da...ba).
You do look handsome even in the nebulizer. Know that women really think men wich oxygen masks are hunky. OK, that is mostly at nursing homes and retirement communities but still...hunky is in the eyes of the behonder.
I will see you soon so get well!Love you,
Aunt Shan
