for St. Patrick's Day.
Disclaimer: It takes a while but is so worth it... if you get the ooohs and aaahs you are looking for when people eat it.
Step 1: Get a box of white cake mix and separate in to 5 equal bowls (about 3/4 cup each)
Step 2: Tint each bowl with food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, and purple)
Step 3: To make 24 cupcakes, fill tins with cupcake liners and SPREAD 1 tsp. of each color into the liners. Be sure to go in backwards order...purple, green, yellow, orange, and red.
Step 4: Bake at 350 for 17 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before taking them out of the tins.
Step 5 (optional): If you have green chocolate and shamrock molds, melt the chocolate and put them in the fridge to harden
Step 6: Make your favorite buttercream frosting and squeeze it onto the colorful cupcakes. Top it with a shamrock.
Step 7: Don't tell anyone about your cool creation and wait to see their reaction when they take a bite out of your COOL CUPCAKE!
