that I will miss having the Cowboy and Elmo chair
a fixed part of our family room decor.
a fixed part of our family room decor.
that I will miss finding "Big Doggy" laying around the house.
that I will miss waking up to a kitchen table scattered with sippy cups, car seats, and Buzz Lightyear.
that I will miss all the scribbles at the bottom of the chalkboard.
that I will miss this little 2 year old face that woke me up
at 6:15 on a Saturday morning.
at 6:15 on a Saturday morning.
that I will miss having the hallway strewn with toys.
that I will miss the bathtub looking like this.
that I will miss the piles of "too small" clothes and the boxes of clothes waiting to be put into drawers.
So, today I am going to try to look at my house differently. All the little things that drive me crazy are only temporary. They won't be here forever. It is just a season. Before I know it, no plastic toys will litter our rooms, the table will be cleared by helping hands the night before, the bathtub will only be a place of getting clean (not playing), my boys will be sleeping in longer than me, and they'll be putting their own clothes away.
Just like I said before here and here... sometimes it's good to look at things a little differently.

What a sweet post.
{Ummmm, I just read that that is almost EXACTLY what Misty wrote too...}
So, it MUST be true, right?
What a wonderful post - and an amazing way to look at things.
