Liebster, what!?!?!

So... I got a notification on my phone that said "someone" had mentioned me on Twitter. I, of course, got that excited feeling...

It said "Liebster Blog Award - @managingmarbles..."

Huh? Liebster Blog Award. So... I went to her site to look it up. At first, I couldn't find what it was. I did, however, read her post Love Through Kites and knew I liked this girl. (I think you will too.)

After looking around on her sweet blog, I found what I was looking for. This is what it said...

"The origins of the Liebster Blog award are somewhat unclear but the general consensus is that it originated in Germany, Liebster meaning favorite or dearest, to showcase bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Upon accepting the award the recipient must then pass it on to five more blogs of note."

The rules are simple: 

1. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 blogs of 200 followers or less who you feel deserve to be noticed.

2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.

3. Post the award on your blog.

4. List the bloggers you gave the award to with links to their sites. Leave a comment on their blogs to let them know they've received the award.

5. Share five random facts about yourself

So fun, huh? So, here goes (in no particular order)...

She makes the CUTEST banners/flags you've ever seen. She has two adorable little boys. She plans the BEST parties EVER. Her husband just came out with an album. She writes about fun stuff on her blog. She is just plain cute. 

She is an amazing writer. She has two SWEET little girls. She is a talented singer and musician. She's a great mommy. She makes the coolest stuff. (The quillow is my fave.) She writes about food, school, parenting...and so much more. Oh, and she's got great hair. 

She is my first "real" bloggy friend. She has an adorable little boy. She is honest and real...that's how I knew I'd like her so much. She lives in the Midwest and sometimes I think I secretly wish I lived there too. Go check out her little corner of the world. 

She is one of the greatest people I know. She has beautiful twin girls. She is amazingly artistic. She is the real deal. Her blog is awesome... great pictures, cute ideas, just some fun stuff. And, she HANDMADE the most adorable coloring books. 

And...last, but certainly not least, my sister, Kristi. She is one of my best friends. She has two handsome little boys, Max and Theo. She is the person I talk to on the phone several times a day for several hours (b/c she lives in IL). She loves to write about recycling and repurposing things. She loves all things "green." And now, 5 random facts about me...

1. I married my first boyfriend from 5th grade.

2. I drive a minivan and am not ashamed.

3. I look just like my mom.
